Also known as 'shotgun fungus,' these are tiny, hard black specks (spores) that shoot out of wood mulch and permanently attach themselves to light-colored vinyl siding.
Extremely difficult to remove once cured. Soft washing can sanitize the area, but scraping or chemical melting is often required for total eradication.
